Sales and Business Development Account Executive

Overview of the Role

 

We are looking for a talented Sales and Business Development professional to join our team either on a full-time or initially part-time basis (with expectations that the successful candidate will transition to a full-time basis). We are a small but mighty startup team, and you will be getting in on the ground floor. This also means all of us dig in to help each other along the way, contribute ideas and challenge each other to excel, as well as wear multiple hats. Responsibilities of the Role

  • Responsibility for business development efforts in the Company’s target business segments 
  • Responsibility for developing account plans for enterprise customers and closing sales
  • Responsibility for channel development activity, including sourcing and securing value-added reseller partners 
  • Managing channel partners and supporting their sales and business development activities 
  • Assist channel partners and enterprise customers in their success and delight with the company’s products and services

Qualifications for the Role

  • Self-motivated, passionate and enthusiastic to create something great with a team
  • High performer and bias to completion
  • Strong experience in a sales and business development environment 
  • Comfortable presenting to business owners and executives via all types of media
  • Trusted advisor approach to consultative selling and business development
  • Experience supporting channel partners, such as value-added resellers 
  • Strong communications skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Willingness to learn about performance marketing and opportunity management
  • University degree preferred
